I'd be keen to acquire a wooden block - similar to Habakuk's - for stretching. The one Habakuk used wasn't big at all, but it looked solid and thick.
Pity B&Q DIY stores didn't sell them in self-assembly packs! I'd need step-by-step directions about the type of wood, dimensions, where to cut it in half, where to drill the holes, what length of bolts and any other specifications.
Any thoughts, anyone? More to the point, any carpenters?

I will describe the block I made
For some reason I cannot log on as kbar. The block is made from a2x4 pine. It is 4 1/2" lond 2" wide 1 1/2" thick. The hole is either 1 1/2 or 1 3/8"and beveled on the side the balls sit on.The block is split into two c shaped halves. Two 1/4"x 4 1/2" bolts hold the block together after the halves are fitted just below the balls. Two 1/8" nylon cords cross through the block ends in the same direction as the bolts. These are for connection to a suspension hook and also force the block together when used. I have used this for 1 year. It took 3 months to get even a few moments of total body weight suspension.I started with icing the balls for 10 min. this gives some anesthesia to the skin.
The ultimate is to have her swing from my balls. Habakuk is the master. I envision lying on a plywood board with the balls and block hanging through a central hole.A trapeze type seat would be attached to the block cords for her to sit on naked and swing back and forth.
That excellent - thanks.
About the cord: are there 4 holes drilled for it to pass through at either end?

Is the block split in two lengthways?
There are four holes and the block is split lengthwise.
The holes for the cords go from top to bottom of the block. They are tied to the same length on the bottom side so the block hangs level when the cords are on a hook.
